We unwittingly started Consecuencia back in 2019. It was a good old venting sessions. We were tired of seeing newer versions of the same tools to try to fix the oldest problems in the economic development and financial inclusion book. Today, there are elements of that conversation that we constantly revisit.
This time we look to partner with others in order to address those issues, and bring initiatives and projects to fruition. We are not here to do research or work on project that will sit idly in some inbox, powerpoint or cloud. We are in constant pursuit of people and organizations that know what to do, and do it differently.

We think of Consecuencia Ventures as an invitation to consider our actions, measure them against our values, and identify the necessary steps to achieve our intended objectives.
- Con·se·cuen·cia. A Spanish word with many acceptions.
- Consequence. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (Newton’s 3rd Law). We are constantly moving and in motion.
- Con secuencia (“from spanish, with sequence”). A continuous or connected series.
